Stopped by a shop and purchased green tea snacks for the long walks.
Koshoji temple has a lovely rain forest like entrance. The road to temple was on a 30 degree angle. We walked up and it was quiet as a mouse. More tailored to locals' deceased family members.
Uji shrine was located inner amongst houses and a short walk from the main road. Dark koi pond. Cute omamori.
Caught the bus number 43 to Mimurotoji. It only comes by once every hour on any day.
Mimurotoji was perched high on a mountain. Contains three gardens. 1 big one against a lush green hill, 1 full of flowers, 1 koi pond with mini bridges. 1 small bell by main honden. 1 big bell to the top right area from main honden. Behind that is a pargoa [spelling]. Also two statutes for people to interact with, such as a rabbit with an Easter egg stone, and the other is a cow with a stone ball in it's throat. In addition, one fate spinner wheel. hee hee. Lots of fresh air.
We ate a very late lunch in our favourite Uji tea place. I had tried the green tea parfait. Delicious.
Once in Kyoto, Sis took a bus to her favorite hand made hair clip place. While I waited idly by in Isetan. It took her 4:45-6:10pm to find me. In that period of time, I purchased a pink head phone with mic for iPhone ¥1,260, 1 embroided Anna Sui hankerchief ¥630, and 1 Anna Sui facial towel ¥630.
Again, we wasted two hours in Kyoto over a stupid hair clip!!!
Arrived at Harbourland at 8pm. Retail shops closed. Dang! Dined at Ryu-zen. We cooked our own food. Wagyu beef, beef shoulder blade meat, chicken, scallops, and enringi mushroom. Then we rode on electronic animals for 20 minutes. This time I rode a giraffe and Sis rode a large dog. lol. Overall a fun night.
