Feeling very sore and tired all over. Really I don't feel like getting out of bed. Then I did. We caught the usual 7:13am Shinkansen Hikari train to Tokyo. Once alight, we headed off to Daimaru. Packed to the brim at 10:30am. Gosh. Sis couldn't find the luggage bag tag by Vivianne Westwood and she had made do with Anna Sui rose coin holder. We would wonder around some more but there wasn't much to see.
We went off to Omotesando to find Q-pot flagship store. Bang! Eureka. We found it. It doesn't open until 12 noon onwards. Oh. You are not allowed to take photographs inside the store. It doesn't stock all of it latest goods. Um. The dark cookie strap was not there and neither was the ghost macaroon. I settled for one Mont Blanc cup cake strap. Also ended up joining their membership limited to this store only. WTF?
Off to Roppongi Hill. Hoping to see giant white snow trees. None of that decoration display this year. You can see Tokyo Tower from this 3rd level garden with a gazebo (between Hollywood beauty building and Museum building). A guy asked me to help him take a picture of him holding Tokyo Towers like I did for sis. Cool. He was very pleased with the photographs. Lunched at Sanakaya Rokuzo (W5F,3). Looked at calendars. i purchased a lovely birthday card for myself and sticker from Paper Mint. From Laudee I ate citron flavoured macaroon and Sis ate vanilla flavoured macaroon. Since we do not feel like walking around bottom of residential and office buildings, we nicked off to Shinjuku to search for a giant Hello Kitty statue.
Indeed was the giant Hello Kitty statue found in Shinjuku. In the basement level of building called "adhoc". Lucky posters of Hello Kitty gave us the clue that this is the building. I couldn't resist stickers. *drools*
Sis and I had no time for amusement games, karaoke, movies, snooker, as we have a train to catch to return to Shin Osaka before the last train.
Tonight dinner was ekibento again but this time we had mini sandwiches, umeshu, saffron rice with tonkatsu, tomato rice with proscuito and cheese, tomato jelly. Quite the mix. Less than ¥3000.
