Good news. It has taken a while, but I managed to get an internal role in another team. Wow. The journey was well worth it. You really need to sell your skills and values verbally around here. I am happy to be part of a welcoming team and I hope to grow from there on. I am now a new graduate librarian.

In Pokemon Go, I am having issues with PVP as I have not being building my team through out the year. Not winning much battles. Gonna have to sit down and re-think how I want to do this. Not that important as the pokemon encounter is same pokemon that you can come across in the wild, only one or two is exclusive.

Once I get well, my two goals for the year are: get my green P and become a savvy reference desk staff.

#VALA2020 #s9 swipe cards were used to access print collection during non-staffed hours. It relied on RFID gates being in working condition and daily email sent to relevant parties to investigate on missing items.

#VALA2020 #s9 University of Queensland trialled book vending machine and retired it in 2018. It just didn’t hold the whole collection.
