Plagued by sore throat, runny nose, hard of breathing which I cannot distinguish if it is heart burn or asthma. Work hasn't been too stressful, we have processed everything within 4 workings and delivered on spot. Project work is incomplete and deadline is next month yet not a burden of mine. I participate but I am not the head honcho. I have been removed from project until it goes live. Less people in during testing period means less complications. Um... really?

Ah. The testing bleeds into September...
First day of Spring and with fresh motivation I read Myki's website, reading about what to do when boarding trams, in zone 1 all you had to do was 'touch on' and that you didn't have to 'touch off'. I went ahead and excuted that instruction and followed up on it by checking MyMyki online and it didn't register the tram trip in my log history. (◎_◎;) On 2nd Sept 2010 I have decided to catch a peak hour train and see if the card can tell the difference between a tram or a train. Upon 'touch on' did it deduct $2.94 but I question did it register that action as a 'touch on' or a 'touch off' or did it count as all in one action? (・・?) I had no problem at exit barrier so it all looks dandy. After work again I swipe the cards aka touch on then touch off. No worries there again. it seem to have deducted the right amounts from yesterday till today.
During Early Bird travel time when place my Myki on reader I was charged $4.96. I subsequently double check my audit trail and it shows it was stuck on 17:08:54 the 13th September 2010. This audit trail did not register my last transaction for 17:44 that Monday evening 13th September 2010. The audit trail is always 48-72 hours behind the actual last transaction. The Myki card readers had falsely stated successful "touch off" when in actual fact it failed. The machine doesn't have a serial number. I have filed a complaint against Myki to Public Transport Ombudsman. Demanding Myki to update it and check their faulty card reader machines.
Myki refunded me 42.02 but they did conduct the investigation during 13th~15th September. Only a few weeks later did they look into it and instantly claimed their machines are fine. Um... really?
