I learned how to use transitional words this month. Something I wish public high school English teachers would teach students. Sad. That people only learn this in their university years.

A Facebook group called BIS2013 was setup by Madeline L and also welcomes all students in INF203. Aim of the group is to share findings in relation to the course and upcoming events (which could benefit your INF305 personal career development activity log).

Turmoil. iPhone 4S apparently no longer allow me to go online via wifi. The wifi toggle was disabled  (aka "greyed out"). I have done everything a normal person can do: reset network setting, reset to previous profile back up, factory restore, and replace wifi antenna. Sigh. Face the fact I'm out of options. Deep sigh.

My latest Google Earth project as part of my studies in Mapping with Google Course.

Here is the bad capture tool: Google Earth tour. Let me know if you think I can do better.

Here is a screen capture video the tour in FULL.

Alternatively you can download the KMZ file from here. Click here

May 2013

Living on my own has been an eye opener. There are apartments where you cannot bring your ADSL with you, which is by far the biggest obstacle in the budget. Mobile internet is unfortunately too slow and costly for someone who is renting. I have tried Kogan Mobile (MVNO) but they like to reactivate dead sim card then charge you without authorisation, just because they happen to have your details on their system. Yet to get around sampling iiNet mobile internet in the coming months, once I actually get my hands on the sim card, as it still has not arrived since 1st April 2013. Drag when you order physical item online and they fail to arrive compared to purchasing the physical item from a retail store.

My studies are swimming along just dandy. Lots of reading to catch up though. Life issues is the biggest distraction in my study period. If only, things were simpler.
