Ah. I got this one in late. Boo.
I have learned that there is a thing called SIBO. It affects our small intestine, and it causes you to have gas and feeling bloated most of the time. If it breaks the layer of the small intestine then we will begin to see rash and break out. on our skin. Eureka. I think, I have discovered the reason behind my skin condition.
My work colleague said their partner felt tired because of imbalance caused by SIBO. Hmm. There is more to this than I thought.
Trying out black walnuteextract. Ew. Bitter stuff.
The thing in life is, that it is up to you:
To build your own system(s) from knowledge, wealth, and health;
To build your own communities (since not all friends want to intermingle).
I find it baffling when people put their career, finances, hobbies, and travel on hold while waiting for someone else to take the lead—especially when those people clearly aren’t interested in knowing them or inviting them anywhere meaningful. Without those people in their lives, they just stop everything and wait for an invitation that’s never coming. Meanwhile, the people they idolize move on without a second thought, posting polished, curated photos on social media with the friends they actually care about.
I don’t wait around for anyone. I just head out, find good food, and go to events that are open to everyone. If I meet someone cool along the way, awesome — but it’s not guaranteed, and I’m not banking on it. Honestly, a lot of people these days have a transactional mindset anyway. If you’re not useful to them, they drop you. It happens. One less birthday to celebrate isn’t exactly a problem for me.
I’ve been playing around with the iPhone’s Shortcuts app and figuring out how to set up alarms that actually read text out loud to me. It’s my way of keeping myself on track and getting things done at home without drifting off. I tend to lose focus pretty easily, especially when family walks in and immediately unloads their stuff on me. And honestly, I’m nowhere near an AI whiz — just learning as I go.
Work
Still ironing out issues with PSR roll out. There has been talks of AI use and a little on ethics. If you ask me, ethics was not the issue, it is the act of not speaking to FOH staff about procedural changes is by far the nastiest methodology. Worst is FOH staff has to create an interim procedure to fill in the gaps created by the procedural changes and apologies to patron for the inconvenience caused.
PoGo
I had an amazing streak. During road to Kalos I encountered a perfect pikachu on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. It was such wow moment. Totally did not expect it. Then Sunday bang another perfect pikachu. We did not get to use all of our link charges as the lobby were small for the super mega raids.
Dating
My brain is not that space of romance. So, I don't think I can handle needy individuals who are shopping for models with money and cooking skills. I do hope to attend more events to get to meet someone. I gotta fix my knee and rash on my face.
Carer
Lately, Lisa has been giving orders from her lounge bed, even to people who are simply washing their hands in the bathroom. When they don't respond, she accuses them of ignoring her. Today, I asked her how she could be sure, especially over the sound of running water. As soon as I questioned her, she called me a “bitch.”
I reminded her that asking for clarity isn’t unkind—it’s simply seeking evidence, which is how I try to approach things.
What frustrates me is the contrast between her words and her behaviour. I’m trying to make sense of the inconsistency, both in what she says and in how she treats others. She frequently talks about heaven and morality, yet she doesn’t hesitate to lie or lash out. Lying is a sin.
I’m wrestling with how to maintain compassion without allowing disrespect, and how to stay pragmatic without being perceived as confrontational. Sadly, she remains stubborn. Only old age death will free her from her ill manners.
