Anything that could go wrong did went wrong. Well, mainly at work. Staff cannot decide on which date to run an event and then they refuse to plan communication in advance. I can only do so much before a desk shift or before a day off.
Then I am learning there is thing about sending out reminders. If it has been sent out by staff newsletter on Monday, it cannot be sent out via email on Tuesday or Wednesday. We can probably get away with a reminder in the Thursday all staff meeting.
There was no BCC field in a calendar/meeting invite. You had to forward the email with BCC field. What messed up was the UTC was set to American time instead of Australian time. Whoa. That meant the invite was sent out with a 9pm start time instead of a 10am start time. Of course, this was all done in the last minute during lunch time a day before the event. A month in advance would have been better. However, no one from the work stream or social committee wanted to take up the task.
Moreover, casuals, volunteers, and security staff do not have access MS Teams, with that being the case, they cannot fill in MS Teams forms. On that basis our bake off poster was not forwarded on said the supervisor of volunteers. I did my best. Other people will have to take up the mantle. I do not have the energy to suggest to an adult, you know, you could just ask them to email in their entry or not bake but feel free to attend the event when you happen to rostered in.
On the day of the event, there were volunteers who asked why they were not informed. I could not be bothered to justify someone's else action. I'm too busy topping up baked goods and informing punters how to vote.
Now I am writing a guideline and hoping people could follow it. However, I fear we will be short of people to help with planning events in the near future.

Family is unwilling to work on increasing cash flow. Just happy to depend on grandpa. Um. Cost of living is going to be higher than what's grandpa can put out.
Sis states she avoid much of the north side of the city due to lack of toilets and too much homeless people. Actually, these homeless hang in malls and near toilets more than you can imagine. Also, those bibe bashers are loitering around the shops too. Since we look like young Asians they will continuously approach you. I said you need to build a better defence and learn to stay on the move.
Sitting down and looking pretty only attract flies in the city. The rich does not hang in the city. They did not in the 1886 and they will not in 2024.

PoGo the game has been quite. More and more players are pissed by the new features, which does not benefit their play style. Coach potato. We hardcore continue to walk and play. My sister insist we sit and play. I tell her this game does not operate that way. To find research task is to swipe a poke stop and each street can have up 50 poke stops. It takes time to go through all of time. Sis whinges. Too much walking is hurting her joints. I told her you can hide in the shops while I play PoGo. I rather be fit and able to move as I age then to sit and develop joint problems. Sedentary lifestyle can ruin your health.
