Ahhh... so nice to have sunny weekends again. The cat is sun baking and her fur changes from white to chestnut. Washed clothes dries in minutes and not hours. Fruit juice beckons ice cube to join in the party. You feel like putting your feet in water while you lie back with a fly squatter wand in hand. Back at office, my colleagues have decorated our section of the open plan office with tinsel, baubles, mini Christmas trees, reindeer, snowman; and I helped out by changing wallpapers and screen savers. Our work load is finally balancing to some extent, not as frantic as November. However, much of old procedures needs refining before the year ends. People are beginning to doubt their skills and knowledge. I wish I can make the necessary changes but I am not in management position to call the shots. Instead, I had left post-it-notes here and there discreetly.

Many app do not have up to date features or support for that matter. We are entering a stagnate period of too many new apps, while old apps obsolete too fast for consumer to pick up the pace, and developers are not hearing consumers concerns about the product. Tragic.

It has been a big year for books, we are beginning to see different business models and subscription services. The video links below shows books can be more than just plain scans turned into PDF. They are more interactive than ever. Even so we are seeing them move from epub format to HTML5 style. Story telling is better than it was a decade ago and no books are not dead. These are simply add-ons and extras to make reading a fun experience again. Yes, I am using iPad and Google as examples, but surely you can imagine the endless possibilities and the various products could come from this new styling.
